Mr. Corbett is the founder and Managing Partner of CCG
Advisors. He has over 15 years of experience advising
the owners of successful privately held businesses as to
the value and marketability of their businesses and the
alternatives they have in terms of liquidity, exit
strategies and accessing growth capital.
Mr. Corbett has worked with clients in a wide range of
industries covering the broad sectors of manufacturing,
service and distribution, with specific transaction
experience in healthcare, building products and
services, facility services (especially commercial
landscape service firms), telecommunications (both
wire-line and wireless), utility consulting,
architecture and engineering, amongst others. Brian and
his team have facilitated dozens of transactions with an
aggregate purchase price in the hundreds of millions of
dollars.
After receiving his degree in Finance from Florida State
University, Brian began his career as a commercial
lending officer with First Union National Bank in both
Charlotte, North Carolina and Tampa, Florida. Based upon
a desire to combine his financial background and a goal
to create new business relationships, he moved to
Atlanta and took a position with Cigna Financial
Advisors as an estate planning and business succession
advisor. After three years of advising family owned
businesses as to alternative business succession and
wealth preservation techniques and recognizing the trend
of more family businesses being sold than passed on to
future generations, Mr. Corbett left Cigna to form what
would become CCG Advisors.
Mr. Corbett's expertise lies in advising the owners of
privately held businesses with annual revenues ranging
from $10,000,000 to $200,000,000. Having the unique
experience of advising business owners on all their
options for wealth preservation and business succession
as well as having executed so many transactions, Brian's
clients are provided an opportunity to see their
business through a different set of eyes and choose the
strategic direction that is right for them, their
employees and their families. His guidance helps clients
achieve goals above and beyond the financial rewards of
a transaction. It is the dynamics of family, the
personalities of his business-owner clients and the
ability to bring them expert advice on what will likely
be the largest transaction of their lives that he enjoys
most about his role at CCG.
Brian's commitment to being able to fully serve the
needs of CCG's clients has led the firm to develop
expertise not only in third party sales but also private
equity recapitalizations, refinancings, valuations and
employee stock ownership plans.
Mr. Corbett has appeared as a speaker and has been
published nationally for his work in the field of
mergers and acquisitions.
He and his wife Melinda, along with their four children,
reside in Atlanta. They are active members at the
Cathedral of Christ the King, The Ansley Golf Club,
Buckhead Baseball and the Northside Youth Organization. |
